Sunriver Oregon Art

A group of local artists are trying to work together to open a new Gallery in the Village Mall, Building 19 at the old Paper Station location. Midge Thomas and Susan Harkness-Williams are spearheading the effort according to Sunriver Scene. Their vision is for a group of artists (about 20) who would work together to share the expenses in leasing the building and business expenses and create a full blown gallery that could also feature workshops, classes and demonstrations.

This is such a great idea and I hope a few of my readers are local artists who have dreamed of one day opening their own gallery. This is a great way to fulfill that dream and not have to be burdened with the entire cost of bringing a gallery to fruition.

This would be a wonderful asset to the Village Mall and Sunriver. If you’d like to learn more on how you can be involved, you can contact Midge at midge.gene@yahoo.com or Susan at sunriversister@chamberscable.com.

Finally, an issue that I am passionate about. I have looked for information of this caliber for the last several hours. Your site is greatly appreciated.
